Housekeeping in a café involves maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization to create a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for customers. The role is essential in ensuring that both the front-of-house and back-of-house areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Regularly cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the café, including dining spaces, restrooms, kitchen, and storage areas. This involves wiping down tables, chairs, countertops, and other surfaces.

- Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner. Ensuring that waste bins are regularly emptied and kept clean.
- Restroom Upkeep: Maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms by cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Restocking supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
