Job Description

A Pre-Primary Teacher, also known as a Preschool Teacher, plays a critical role in the early development and education of young children, typically aged 3 to 5 years old. Here are some of their key responsibilities:

  1. Planning Lessons: Designing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  2. Creating a Safe Environment: Ensuring the classroom is a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where children can learn and explore.
  3. Teaching Basic Skills: Introducing fundamental concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through engaging activities.
  4. Facilitating Play: Encouraging creative play and physical activities to develop motor skills and social interactions.
  5. Observing and Assessing: Monitoring children’s progress, identifying any developmental issues, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  6. Communicating with Parents: Providing regular updates to parents about their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
  7. Encouraging Social Skills: Teaching children how to interact with their peers, share, take turns, and resolve conflicts.
