A Pressing Man, also known as a Garment Presser or Ironing Specialist, is responsible for pressing and ironing garments to remove wrinkles and give them a polished, professional appearance. This role is essential in the textile and clothing industry, as well as in dry cleaning and laundry services.
- Operating Pressing Equipment: Using various pressing machines and irons to press and finish garments.
- Garment Handling: Sorting, inspecting, and preparing garments for pressing.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that each garment meets quality standards and is free from wrinkles, creases, and defects.
- Stain Removal: Treating stains and spots on garments before pressing.
- Finishing Touches: Adding final touches such as folding, packaging, and labeling pressed garments.
- Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining pressing equipment and workspace.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure garments are pressed perfectly.
